About Me

Bhatia Images: Powai, Mumbai, India; Pamela Bhatia, has always had a passion for photography. While living overseas in the middle east and India, she was constantly capturing on film the cultures she was immersed in. Throughout her travels - she has visited Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, England, United Arab Emirates, India and Turkey - a camera was always by her side. Bhatia's educational background and training is in anthropology, which she studied at Rhode Island College. Bhatia is also a member of Blue Earth Alliance and credits their agency for saying it best, "The link between compelling documentary photography and our collective motivation to change attitudes, behavior, even policies is strong." "The stories and perceptions that a single photograph can portray are powerful. I do my best to capture the story and emotions that come before my lens. I believe we can all make a difference in some way to positively effect the lives of others. I hope to do this with the stories and awareness of issues shown through my photography."
